I was drawn to menopause coaching when I noticed the huge gap in information and resources for people going through perimenopause and menopause. In my efforts to fill that gap in our community, I was led to certify as a Menopause Coaching Specialist through Girls Gone Strong. To me, menopause coaching is essentially like being a doula through menopause. As with other doula work, I come alongside my clients to help guide, encourage, educate, support, and inspire, but the essentials of doing the work all in their hands.
