Just like growing a baby, growing your new business takes time and support. Joyful Start’s mentorship program supports you through this time of building and growing your business. As you will do for your clients, Kelly will come alongside you and guide you through the process to meet your goals for your business.
Wondering how to find your first clients, what you need in your agreement, what to ask in an interview, how to handle payment, what to do with difficult client questions, how to avoid being taken advantage of, how to set your prices, how to decide if you need an LLC, whether you need insurance, what you should do at a visit, whether you need to pay for advertising, etc.? Kelly’s got your back…and your answers.
Your 9-month mentorship plan
Your first trimester
- Bi-weekly (every other week), 1-hour, in-person (when/where available) or virtual mentoring sessions to meet your needs in:
- Business planning
- Marketing
- Skill-building
- Establishing the tools, forms, processes, and materials you’ll need for a successful business
- Coaching to build your confidence and maximize your success
- Short and long-term goal-setting and prioritization that work for YOU
- Supporting you in completing your training and/or certification as needed
- Daily text access to your mentor for advice on client or business issues
- Audit birth, newborn care and breastfeeding classes
Your second & third trimesters
- Monthly, 1-hour, in-person (when/where available) or virtual mentoring sessions to meet your continued needs in:
- Growing your business
- Taking your marketing to the next level
- Nurturing your client relationships
- Improving your referral game
- Refining and customizing your tools and processes
- Workshopping your planning and goal-setting
- Supporting you in completing your training and/or certification as needed
- Daily text access to your mentor for advice on client or business issues
